2-4 Old Castlegate, Banff
A landmark building in the heart of Banff has been successfully restored to its former glory by a collaborative project managed by the North East Scotland Preservation Trust.
The town centre building, 2-4 Old Castlegate, had lain vacant and derelict for more than 20 years before being transformed, through sympathetic restoration, into two private houses.
Work on the B-listed Georgian townhouse has taken around eleven months to complete and the larger of the two houses was been sold on the open market at an early stage. The smaller house has also been successfully sold.
